Vishay announces a new surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistor featuring a wide side terminal contruction that yields a high power to footprint size ratio (2 W in 1020 case sizes). The WSL1020 produces extrememly low resistance values down to 0.003 Ω and stable resistance tolerances to 0.5%.
The high-temperature capability allows the use of the resistor in harsh, high temperature environments without sacrificing power rating or electrical performance.
