TE Connectivity PTF Family RTD Temperature Sensors

TE Connectivity Platinum Thinfilm (PTF) Family Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) Temperature Sensors feature a structured platinum film on a ceramic substrate, coated with glass for protection. Platinum's use as the resistive material ensures excellent long-term stability. These small, lightweight RTDs offer fast response times and low time constants, ideal for precise and rapid feedback control systems. The most common PTF RTD sensors are the Pt100 and Pt1000. The Pt100 has a base resistance of 100Ω at 0°C, while the Pt1000 has a base resistance of 1000Ω at 0°C. Typical applications include automotive, medical, white goods, and sensing elements.
