AMP Rack and Panel Connectors offer a wide range of shell configurations, contact arrangements, contacts and shell modifications to meet ARINC Specification 404 and MIL-C-81659.
Connectors are available in three standard commercial series, three MIL qualified series and additional special versions.
Commercial Series are R, unsealed; RM, standard, with interface seal on pin inserts; and RME, environmentally sealed. Military qualified series M, MM and MME are equivalent to the R, RM and RME series, but each is 100 percent inspected and coded with a color stripe. All six of these standard connector series are intermateable.
