TE Connectivity’ LIGHT-N-LOK ballast disconnects are hotpluggable interconnects for fluorescent ballast applications designed to meet the 2008 NEC code for section 410.130(G) and Canadian Electrical Code: 22.1-06- Paragraph 30-308 (4).
This 2008 change requires a disconnecting means for luminaires installed in an indoor location for commercial and industrial installations.
These connectors meet UL 2459 Insulated Multi-Pole Splicing Wire Connectors and CSA Std C22.2 No. 1823-M1987 With Current Interruption, and it also supports CSA Luminaires Labeling Requirements.
