Omron EE-SY1200 Reflective Photomicrosensor is an ultra-compact surface mount model with a high light-to-leakage current ratio. The reflective photomicrosensor, or photointerruptor, is a compact optical sensor that senses objects or object positions with an optical beam. When an object is located in the sensing area of the reflective photomicrosensor, the object reflects the optical beam of the emitter, thus changing the amount of optical energy reaching the detector.

Pre-Wire Photomicrosensor (EE-SX) These models come with wires already attached to the optical sensor, saving customers time and money during their assembly process. Additionally, Omron’s optical sensors offer high connection reliability and are maintenance friendly, by having the wire leads use a connector that will attach to the terminals of the sensor as opposed to soldering the wires directly onto the terminals.
