The T499 Tantalum Chip series is designed for use in applications with operating temperatures up to 175°C. This product offers the highest operating temperature capability in a surface mount tantalum device available in the marketplace. The T499 series expands KEMET’s portfolio of products targeted for harsh environmental applications, including under hood automotive electronics, base stations and oil exploration equipment.
The T499 series is available in five EIA standard case sizes (A, B, C, D and X) and offers a capacitance range of 0.15microfarads to 220 microfarads, in voltage ratings of 6V to 50V. The T499 capacitors are available in RoHS compliant versions and in standard Sn/Pb (5% Pb minimum) terminations.
