Did you forget to close the fridge after leave for work? Remember to close the stair gate that is providing the only barrier between your hyperactive dog and that brand new all-leather couch? Had these applications used the V19 Series of microswitches from Honeywell, there would be no need for reminding! The V19 Series provides engineers with a microswitch specifically aimed at the domestic market with applications including presence detection, float switches, flow switches, power switches, and operator controls. The V19 series supports numerous different configurations, both mechanically and electrically, that include various lever lengths, lever attachments, and contact arrangements. The microswitches have operating forces between 0.15N and 3.92N, and the minimum number of mechanical cycles supported is 1 million. Furthermore, the V19 series can be cycled 60 times a minute, and all switches are RoHS3, REACH, and CalProp 65 compliant, making the V19 applicable in European markets. With such reliability, you’ll be sure that gate is closed!
