KEMET ArcShield X7R MLCCs

KEMET ArcShield X7R MLCCs are surface mount (SMD/SMT), high voltage, commercial and automotive grade multilayer ceramic capacitors designed for applications that are susceptible to surface arcing (arc over discharge). These MLCCs are developed on the principle of a partial Faraday cage, which provides improved performance and reliability when compared to external surface coating technologies. The X7R MLCCs feature an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and a DC voltage rating of  500V, 630V, and 1KV. Typical applications include analog and digital modems, HID lighting, high voltage coupling and DC blocking, and LAN/WAN interfaces.
